cause for celebration

On Saturday, 13 February 2010 the team met up at the studio to film scenes 25a and 26-29 and, thus, finally completed the introductory part of the film only one and a half months behind schedule. The fact was celebrated by putting on AC/DC full blast. Here are some photos from the last session:

There'll be a shortish break in filming now as the team discuss the finer points of the main body of the film.
The upside of taking the original set apart is that Finci found a number of photographs taken probably in July 2009. Here's a selection:

Too much work

And, finally, here's a short clip (scene 9-10)

new year - a belated post

It's been nearly two months since the last post - the result of the poster's lazyness (sic.).
On the other hand, the team have been far from lazy.
Having spent nearly 6 months working on it, the team were sad to see the original set destroyed.

There have been too many sessions since the last post to document each one individually, so here's a brief outline:

* all of the lost scenes have been redone

* all of the scenes using the original set have been shot

* the sun rise/sunset scene is finished

There's only the final scene of the introduction to finish before the team move on to the song itself.

The good news is that Liseanne decided to stay in Helsinki for another semester, so the studio will be free for a little longer.

The bad news is that a number of puppets have been relegated to the museum.

New Year Resolution: write updates at least twice a month.
